Here is a list of food items that are healthy and must be included in everyday meals of a person.
- Grilled Chicken/ Fish: Chicken or fish are very beneficial for health, provided they are not taken in a fried form. A very simple way to cook grilled chicken or fish at home is, take a bowl of hung curd and add ginger garlic paste and spices as per your choice. Marinate chicken or fish for 3–4 hours in it and then cook it on a non-stick pan adding a teaspoon of oil.
- Grilled Mushroom or Soya Tikka: Just like grilled chicken and fish, one can also grill mushroom or soya chaap. This is again a very interesting recipe.
- Detoxifying Smoothies: One can blend cucumbers, parsley, ginger, lemon juice, apple and a little cinnamon and add little water to it. This juice is very beneficial for detoxifying the body and to lose fat, one can drink a lot of it without any harm.
- Clear Vegetable Soup: One can have an ample amount of clear vegetable soup with chopped vegetables for a healthy diet, but it should be taken without corn flour or sugar.
- Detoxifying Juices: One can also go for different detox juices in the water like Apple Cider Vinegar, Aloe Vera Juice, Wheatgrass Juice, Amla Juice etc. These juices are very beneficial for detoxifying the body and for losing fat.
- Saffron- Turmeric Milk: Add a pinch of pure turmeric and pure saffron to low-fat milk and boil it for a while. One can have it hot as well as chilled. This recipe is miraculous in terms of enhancing complexion as well as overall well being.
- Fruit Yoghurt: One can have fruits of their choice like berries, apple, kiwi, pomegranate, pineapple, oranges, grapefruit etc in a bowl. Add little fruit pulp in 3–4 spoons of the yogurt culture and spread it over the fruit chunks. That is an amazing thing to have on daily basis. One can even add little dry fruits to it.
